It’s finally fishing season for everyone who has been waiting for the weather to warm up some, and we couldn’t be more excited. Have you ever wanted to enjoy a lakeside getaway but not sure where you’ll go to eat while you’re away from home? This amazing spot in Kansas next to a beautiful state park is the perfect spot for barbecue and fish bait. It’s an odd combo, but trust us, it’s a winner.
Welcome to Tri-Corner Restaurant, Bait Shop, & Store. It's a one-stop-shop for amazing eats for you and for the fish you'll hopefully be catching as well.
Hiding out near Fall River State Park, a beautiful place for hiking, but more importantly, fishing. They've got a good selection of channel cat, crappie, and a couple varieties of bass if you're lucky enough to catch some.
First and foremost, their location makes them the perfect spot for a bait shop, selling everything you need for a fantastic day of fishing. Or weekend, if you're anything like me and my father when we head out with our lines.
They are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, and from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. They do advise that the grill closes 30 minutes before close for cleanup, as well. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but the bait shop is only closed on Wednesday.
