The Small Town Balloon Festival in Kansas You Simply Can’t Miss This Fall
Spending the day surrounded by balloons and festival activities is a day well spent in Kansas. We don’t get to see hot air balloons too often (blame the wind!) but we love our balloon festival when it comes around. We think this year, we should all come together in this small town for a balloon festival that we’ll never forget.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
For more information about the festival events and times, check out their website to make sure you’re all squared away. If you can’t make it out to this balloon festival in Columbus, consider going up to Wamego for a Wizard of Oz festival on the 6th instead!
