7 Scrumptious Restaurants In Kansas You Never Even Knew Existed
Okay, Kansas, it’s time for another foodie bucket list addition! These restaurants are super scrumptious, and you probably never even knew they existed. Or if you have, maybe you’re the only one! They’re not state famous places, but their food shouts just as loud as the rest of them. Who’s ready to get hungry?
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Pie here! I've got your pie here! Stop by Lucille's for a great pie or some of their breakfast, lunch, or dinner fare instead.

This little place grills fantastic steaks, and on every third Saturday, they have a seafood buffet. What's not to love here? Nothing I can find, that's for sure.

Brisket is like a road to your soul at Oklahoma Boy's, and their ribs are fall-off-the-bone perfect. Carolina sauce accents everything perfectly, making for a wonderful hometown meal.

I know what you're thinking, this doesn't look like much. However, it's flavor is a lot more beautiful than it's appearance. Unless you are in love with gravy, of course. Then it's gorgeous.

BBQ on a bun? BBQ on a bun! Between a Pig Out (pictured above) and their mac'n'cheese burger, there's nothing more you need here. They also have BBQ versions of many other surprising foods like spaghetti or burritos. Who knew?

Brisket on bread might be a weakness for Kansans, but that doesn't mean that this delicious creation is famous. In fact, unless you're a local, you might have never heard of Smokey's!

I had never heard of this small shop in Wichita until a friend took me there, and holy moly was their food good. Prices are great too! I've never had a bad burger since.
