It’s no wonder that a state full of farming, cows, and hunting loves their meat. For all those meat-and-potatoes type people in Kansas, steak is something we can’t get enough of. Today we venture to Russell, Kansas, where a certain steak is just as fulfilling as their rich local history.
I personally like Kansas steak best when it's covered in mushrooms and/or onions, but we won't judge you if you like them plain. As long as you aren't dipping it in ketchup, right?
In addition to these delicious monster steaks, we love their other fare if we still have room to eat after the meat. They also make great fried sides, fried chicken, and fish.
