There is a reason that Kansas is known as the Sunflower State. The fields of sunflowers are absolutely breathtaking and will capture the heart of anyone who ventures through them. The Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival, located in Buhler, is the place to be if you want to walk through fields of sunflowers, shop dozens of vendors, get lost in a maze, and so much more.
The Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival is located on the beautiful Gaeddert family farm. This multi-week festival first began with a large maze in 1999 and over the years, the family has added many more attractions.
When you come to the Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival, plan to spend plenty of time in the 20 acres of sunflower fields and amidst the 600,000 blooms. Each general admission ticket lets you choose one sunflower to take home. If that's not enough, you can purchase additional flowers as well.
Bring your camera along and capture dozens of images while you are walking among the flowers. There are large photo props around the farm to help you capture even more unique and memorable photos.
The annual Sunflower Market is a one-day event during the festival and you will certainly want to attend. Shop from more than 60 food and craft vendors, enjoy live music, and much more. It’s a day the entire family will love.
…there are also multiple activities for the entire family including a jumping pillow, tire tunnel, lookout tower, sandbox, and more. There are also several one-day events throughout the festival such as painting classes and a trail run.
