Visit This One Little Known Bed & Breakfast In Kansas For The Time Of Your Life

Do you consider yourself to be an animal lover? Have you already started planning your next trip to the Rolling Hills and/or Sedgwick County Zoo? Talk to me about safaris… do you dream of taking one? If you answered yes to any of these questions, get ready for the ultimate Kansas getaway: a night’s stay at the Hendrick’s Exotic Animal Farm and Bed & Breakfast!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:

Located in Nickerson, this incredible farm and bed & breakfast is by far one of the most unexpected gems of the Sunflower State. Whether you stay the night and receive the full experience or just opt for a daytime tour, you are sure to find a wide variety of exotic animals including giraffes, zebras, kangaroos, and camels.

Take our advice: Instead of just taking the short daytime tour, stay the night in one of their elegant rooms. Starting at $135/night for a standard room (that sleeps 4), you can enjoy the full Hendrick’s Farm experience with not just a comfortable room, but a large breakfast, evening snack, evening and morning tours (which include a complimentary pony and/or camel ride), and the opportunity to get up close and personal with these furry friends!

(If getting away for the night or spending $135 just isn’t in the cards right now, don’t worry; they still offer tours starting at $4/person.)

For more information on room rates, tours, or the farm itself, be sure to visit Hendrick’s Exotic Animal Farm and Bed & Breakfast’s website.
