One Beautiful Fairy Gnome Wonderland In Kansas

There are a good number of parks across Kansas, but do you know what is hiding inside the trees? What you might not know is that this beautiful Kansas park is also the home of a fairy gnome wonderland. Have you seen this little woodland castle in Kansas yet?

Welcome to the Overland Park Arboretum, a place with beautiful scenery as well as a secret home for fairy tales.

For a while, an exhibit was displayed here that spread tiny houses around the park but sadly most were washed away by severe rains.

The only remaining piece is by far the most beautiful, and that's the fairy and gnome wonderland castle. During the enchanted faire event here, it's even more magical.

Every little detail was done by hand by volunteers

Hardworking members of their volunteer team made each creation by hand, and hopefully someday we will see the park covered in tiny houses once more.

Beyond the miniature castle there are many sculptures at the park that are fun to explore even without the magic of a tiny town or castle.

The park is open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
