The Cottage House was built in 1867. However, it wasn’t the large and grand building that you see today. When first built, this hotel was simply a three-room cottage and a blacksmith shop.
Over the years, more rooms have been added to create the stunning historic hotel in Kansas that you see today. There are currently 26 rooms in the main building, 10 rooms in the nearby motel, and two cottages.
