There’s A Magical Trolley Ride In Kansas That Most People Don’t Know About
Do you long to hear the clang, clang, clang of the trolley? Or the ding ding ding of the bell? No need to make a special trip to St. Louis to make your heart strings go zing zing zing; just take a magical ride on Fort Scott’s very own Dolly the Trolley.
There is no better way to tour historic Fort Scott than by taking a 50-minute narrated tour on the beloved Dolly.
If you have had the pleasure of riding the trolley in the past, you may notice she looks a little more... refreshed. Any guesses as to why?
That's right; after two years of fundraising, the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Center was able to revamp Dolly, giving her a much needed update!
Dolly's new look was debuted in August.
When you climb aboard Dolly, you will get a first-hand look at Fort Scott's charming downtown district...
...National Historic Site...
...National Cemetery and so much more.
The cost to ride Dolly is $5 for adults 13 and older; $4 for children 3-12; and children under 3 for free.
