If you ask us, Kansas City, Kansas is a bit underrated. It may be the third most-populated city in Kansas, but it doesn’t get nearly as much attention as the larger city that shares its name and is located just across the Missouri state line. KCMO is actually the older of the two cities and got its name before Kansas was even a state. KCK was named after the Missouri city, and while it has a fraction of the population size of its larger “relative,” it has plenty of history, natural beauty, and attractions to draw people to the region.
