Kansas is a beautiful and magical state. Our stunning sunflowers grow big and plentiful, our sunrises and sunsets are vibrant and colorful… it truly is the best place to be! However, when it comes to this one Kansas garden in particular, there is something extra gorgeous to it, especially during this most wonderful time of the year:
Opened in 1987, Botanica, The Wichita Gardens is a 17.6-acre paradise that houses various gardens like an aquatic collection, butterfly garden, and even a Xeriscape demonstration garden.
While all of these permanent features are nothing short of memorable, this has to be our favorite time of the year at Botanica for one simple reason...
Botanica, The Wichita Gardens is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, with Illuminations running each night from 5:30 to 8. For more information, please visit Botanica's website.
