For A Halloween Adventure In Kansas, Take Botanica’s Spooky Jack-O-Lantern Walk
We’re all pretty familiar with the beautiful Botanica Gardens in Wichita, and just how beautiful they can be. Whether it’s spring or Christmastime, Botanica is a colorful place to visit. However, this Halloween, there’s a spooky jack-o-lantern walk we can’t wait to see. Will you be there, or will you be scared?
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Welcome to the ever-beautiful Botanica, a garden in Kansas where you can see every color of foliage and flower no matter what time of year it may be.
For their Jack-o-lantern spectacular this year, volunteers are carving over 1,000 pumpkins by hand to light up throughout the garden and set the mood to spooky.
The event also features a "Haunted Woodland Walk", featuring actors and displays that will transform the woodlands area into a family-friendly haunted walk, so be prepared for a scare!
The event itself runs through October 15-18, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m. each night. Tickets are $11 for non members, and $8 for children and members. It's $1 more at the door, so you should buy your tickets online to save some money.
