The Restaurant Kansans Say Has The Best Burgers In The Area
When you want good food that fills you up, who could turn down a good greasy burger and fries? If you like good burgers and homemade curly fries, we’ve found your next favorite spot. We’ve heard plenty of Kansans say they make the best burgers around, and we’d like to agree.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Welcome to Beef Burger Bob's, a tiny burger shack in small town Neodesha, Kansas that serves up amazing burgers just how you like them: simple.
They first opened in Fredonia in the 1950s under another name, but have since renamed when Bob and Tony Babcock bought it in 1972. Not many years passed when the burger shack became a restaurant, and they moved to nearby Neodesha, where their current building stands.
The most popular thing to order is of course their burger, but the side of homemade curly fries is a must. The beef burgers themselves are loose meat sandwiches, but not as loose as NuWay burgers are. Be prepared to make a little bit of mess when you eat!
In addition to their beef burgers, they also serve seasonal dishes like homemade chili and soup, other sandwiches such as hand breaded pork tenderloins, and some darn good onion strings.
Of course, you can't really visit a small town spot without trying out their desserts. These cake slices are plenty big enough to share between two people, so don't be afraid to bring a friend along for the ride.
We recommend visiting as early as possible to ensure you get a slice of the daily pie, and even making a day out of it, visiting local shops in town to make your trip to this town more enjoyable.
Have you ever been to this restaurant claiming to be the best in the area? We think this burger spot might be a good contender as well, serving burgers as big as your face and completely customizeable.
Born and raised Kansan, Clarisa has lived in both tiny towns and cities during her time here in the Sunflower State, mostly in the south central area.
