She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). There are a lot of beautiful places in Kansas, and it just so happens we’ve got a scenic byway that connects two of them together. The Wetlands and Wildlife Scenic Byway is a 77-mile highway that connects two of the state’s most incredible wetlands. This fantastic region of the Sunflower State tends to get overlooked by our farmland and prairies. It may not be a very lengthy drive, but it’s a great way to see one of the most underrated areas of the state.
