Flint Hills Nature Trail: Located in Osawatomie, this trail is 118 miles. Here, you’ll journey through the last tallgrass prairie system left on the planet as well as the Marais des Cygnes River. You can hike, bike, and horseback ride on it.
Agave Ridge Loop: Located in Ransom’s 850-acre Cedar Bluff State Park, this loop is .8 miles. Along the way, you can learn about the animals and plants of the area from signs as well as get views of the 100-foot-tall bluffs and ample cedar trees.
Elk River Hiking Trail: Located in Elk City Park in Elk City, this trail is 15 miles long. It will take you around the lake as well as provide some stunning views of the bluffs around it.
