6 Easy-Access Iowa Waterfalls That Are Perfect For A Summer Adventure
When it comes to tracking down waterfalls in Iowa, if you know where you look, you’re in for a treat! Check out a few of the most beautiful cascades in the Hawkeye State below. Each of these are easy to access and don’t require much hiking at all.

You'll take a short one-mile hike back to Malanaphy Springs along a quiet and flat trail. This off-the-beaten-path cascade is a great place to bring children on a hot summer day. The shady trail leads you right to the base of the falls, where you can cool off before heading back home.

Dunning's Spring Park is home to one of the most popular waterfalls in Iowa. It's no wonder - you can practically see it from the parking lot! Take a short walk over the bridge to the trail and you can get as close to the cascade as you'd like.
