Every book lover in Iowa knows about Prairie Lights, the most famous bookstore in the Midwest. But the quaint Iowa City storefront is far from the only bookstore in Iowa! In fact, there are dozens of mom-and-pop shops that sell new and used books throughout the Hawkeye State. One book warehouse in the charming town of Boone may just be the best bookstore in Iowa, and there are 45,000 titles to choose from here at any given time.

They’re closed on Sunday and Monday.
