For fans of barbecue and live music in eastern Iowa, it was a long two years as the famous North Liberty BBQ & Blues festival went on hiatus. But the long wait is over, and this July 9th, the town of North Liberty will be bringing in fans from around the state and beyond. The pits are fired up, the bands are tuning their guitars, and the festival can’t wait to welcome you back.
When the big tent goes up in North Liberty, everyone around knows the event of the summer is coming to town.
That's because a host of the state's best pitmasters are practicing their trade - dishing up the state's best festival barbecue at a sprawling collection of stands and trucks.
If you've had your fill of smoked meats for the day, the festival also offers a variety of other classics like nachos and Philly cheesesteaks. A full selection of vendors will be available close to the show.
At night, the stage comes alive with the state's best blues musicians. Fill up and get ready to party till long after the sun goes down - North Liberty Blues and BBQ is back!
