The farm is a real, working vineyard, and their homemade jams, jellies, pies and candies are absolutely delicious!
Guests are often invited to pick a few concord grapes themselves!
On one section of the retreat, you'll find a putt-putt course. It's open to the public, but guests get to play for free.
The gorgeous pond is stunning year-round, and in the spring, the lily pads really complete the scene.
For those who love to fish, it's stocked with bluegill, crappie, bass and channel catfish. It's open to the public for $3 per day, or guests can enjoy the pond free of charge.
For years, John 15 Vineyard has been a well-known Bed and Breakfast in this section of the Hawkeye State, offering indoor lodging and tent camping.
You can rent a single room, or the entire 2nd floor, which has a great common area for relaxing and socializing.
For B&B lodging, the daily rate is $75 per bedroom, or $190 for the entire 2nd floor. There are also primitive tent sites on the property. To pitch your tent, the daily rate is $20, and the weekly rate is $100.
