Take a trolley ride from downtown Boone to the train station on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm Memorial Day weekend through October 31. The trip takes about 30 minutes, and admission is $2 per person.

The 156-foot tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge is a highlight of the dinner train experience.
Enjoy an elegant meal while aboard a historic working train. The ride is two hours and 15 minutes long and goes through the amazing Des Moines River Valley. This 1950's passenger train was once used on the Union Pacific Railroad's "City of San Francisco" and "City of Los Angeles" steam liners traveling between the west coast and Chicago.

The Rules and Safety Class meets annually, and is the first step on your journey to become part of our train operating crew. Registration starts at 7:30am, with class beginning at 8am.
