The Picket Fence Creamery is a family owned Central Iowa creamery with a reputation for making tasty treats.

This 80 acre farm is home to dairy cows that are cared for by the Burkhart family, who makes all of their products on site.

Like any good creamery, Picket Fence makes some amazing farm fresh ice cream.

Their flavors include dutch letter, maple, mint cookie, and more. You can find Picket Fence ice cream in certain local Hy-Vee stores as well as at the creamery.

There's more than just ice cream at Picket Fence! Their cheese curds are delicious, and you can pick them up in bulk. Stop by on a Sample Sunday to try them yourself.

Of course, their all-natural milk is delicious, too. Try strawberry or chocolate for a sweet treat.

Tours of this central Iowa creamery are available by appointment, but most people stop by on Sample Sunday to see the farm up close.
