Do you want to see all Iowa has to offer? That’s impossible in one road trip, but these ten stops might be a good start. Taking you from one end of the state to the other, this expansive road trip is the perfect long-distance adventure for those looking to take several days to explore the Hawkeye State’s hidden gems.

You're off on an epic Iowa road trip from one end of the state to the other! With a drive time of less than eight hours and ten stops, it's the perfect way to spend a weekend.

Start out in Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs. This charming park is filled with gorgeous fountains and sculptures.

The many animal sculptures in the park almost seem alive and make for perfect photo opportunities for those back home.

You've got a long way ahead of you, so stop for lunch at the local fast-food favorite Doozies.

The restaurant has a full menu of burgers and ice cream, but it wouldn't be an Iowa road trip without a tenderloin sandwich.

Now you're back on the road, heading to Big Grove Village Inn in Oakland - a piece of living history.
