Get Lost In This Awesome 20-Acre Corn Maze In Iowa This Autumn

Iowa’s a big corn state, so of course every Fall, there are hundreds of corn mazes throughout our counties and cities. Each one seems to be bigger than the next, and the 5-acre corn mazes that other states brag about are nothing in comparison. One of the most popular mazes every year is way out in Mitchellville, and its 20 acres of pathway is such a fun place to get lost.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Pumpkinville’s Big Maze opens every day at 10 a.m. and the last entry to the maze is at 8 p.m. The maze costs $7 per person (over 6 years old). Children from age 3-6 can run the maze for just $1, and kids under 3 are free.

For younger kids who want to try a maze on their own, there’s a 15-minute mini maze offered, as well.
