Arrowhead Park is in Pottawattamie County, about 25 miles northeast of Omaha. It's a popular destination for fishing, camping and outdoor recreation.
After spending the day fishing on the calm 17-acre lake or strolling the tranquil woodland trails, you can spend the night in the park - but you won't have to bother with setting up a tent.
Three brand new cabins are available for rent to visitors. Each cabin is equipped with a deck that has a scenic view. Indoors, there's also plenty of room to relax.
You'll feel as comfortable as you do in your own home. The cabins are fully furnished and have heat and central air conditioning. One of the cabins even has a lofted ceiling and a fireplace.
Thousands visit Arrowhead Park each year. If you’re unable to stay overnight in the cabins, the park is still a great place for a day trip to enjoy some fishing, paddle boating, canoeing, or hiking. There are also equestrian trails at the park. If you’re interested in other glamping getaways, here are 10 Iowa state park cabins to discover.
