While this park may be known for its North Pole-themed attraction called Holiday World during most of the year, the summer months call for a different kind of cool.
By far one of the most epic attractions is Mammoth Water Ride. It's one of the only water coasters where riders can expect to catch pockets of air on their way down.
The six-person boat is first lifted up a conveyor belt and then undergoes a series of drops that total 187 feet! Measuring seven acres in size, the Mammoth ride truly lives up to its name.
In addition to stomach-dropping water coasters, the park also features tamer attractions. Because sometimes, nothing beats a relaxing afternoon in the pool.
With its award-winning facilities, range of attractions, and all kinds of summer fun, it's no wonder why this park in Indiana is considered the best in the Nation.
