Driving through rural Indiana can make for a pleasant ride with so much beauty and natural wonder to behold. While it’s no secret that farm country in Indiana offers some of the best scenic views, it’s also home to some of the strangest things you’ll ever see in the state.
You'll find this oddity along US 41 just north of Vincennes. It was constructed in 1954 to honor the 1939 New York World's Fair and stands 20 feet tall. Definitely not something you expect to see while taking a drive!
Indiana is pretty famous for its noteworthy signs and this one is no exception. The back of the sign reads "Jesus is Real." You'll find this landmark in northern Indiana, on I-65, mile marker 243.

The windmills along northern 65 seem to pop out of nowhere and last for miles. While they may not phase you during the day, all of the red lights in the sky will certain jar you at night.
