Right where US Route 30 and 41 met, in the charming town of Schererville, Indiana, used to sit an amazing amusement park that many Hoosiers recall nostalgically. This park was known as Sauzer’s Kiddie Land, and it served Hoosiers as a center for fun and memories from 1949 until 1994.

This fondly remembered amusement park was owned and operated by resident, Frank Sauzer (and later, his son), and showcased approximately 18 rides and a pond for paddle boating. This rare footage below shows the amusement park at its peak, while also providing glimpses of what the area looks like today.
