You Don’t Want To Miss This Pickle-Themed Fair In Small Town Indiana
There’s a popular little fair that takes place annually in a small town in the northeast corner of the state that is quintessentially Indiana. The St. Joe Pickle Festival is the event of the year for a tiny riverside community that awaits this fest each summer.

This July, discover a small town summer celebration that happens every year. Festivities take place throughout the town, but mostly near Riverdale Elementary.
The St. Joe Pickle Festival takes place this year July 19-21, 2018 and is put on by the local pickle company, Sechler's, which puts this town on the map.
Guests can buy pickles in a variety of flavors you may never have tasted before. In addition to traditional flavors like dill and bread & butter, Sechler's specializes in both spicy and sweet pickles.
Activities to enjoy over these three days include an exciting parade, live music, and an art gallery. There will also be a bake sale and special tours of the factory nearby.
For kids, there are a wealth of games and rides. There is a pickle derby, pickle decorating, and wild animal encounters in addition to face painting, chalk art, and much more.
A wealth of food vendors attend this event each year. All your fried favorites from tenderloins to cheese curds abound here. There's also plenty of lemonade and ice cream to keep you cool.
Thursday festivities begin around 4 p.m. while Friday events kick off at noon. On Saturday, this festival begins around 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast.
