The city of Columbus, Indiana has so much artwork on display that it is practically a free outdoor art museum. Walk the streets of this beautiful place for a cultural experience you won’t find anywhere else in the Hoosier State. Check it out:
Home to about 44,000 residents, this southern Indiana town is known for its art and architecture, yet few Hoosiers even know that it is a proper destination.
Just 45 minutes south of Indianapolis, the town is overflowing with unique statues, gardens, bridges, murals, museums, and so much more that make it ideal for all sorts of occasions and more.
Just going on a walk through the city may make you fell like you're in an outdoor art museum with all its statues, structures, and other features of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Some pieces are memorials while some are interactive features. Others are just for looking at while others are functional pieces of architecture.
