Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Nature lovers, let’s be real here: Indiana is a fantastic state to get outside and enjoy. With more than 4,000miles of incredible trails weaving throughout the entire state, it’s impossible not to fall in love with this area once you get used to it. There are 24 state parks total in the Hoosier State; Shades State Park in Indiana, for example, is a delight – but there’s a park within that park that you’ve got to see to believe, too. Somehow, it’s one of the locals’ best-kept secrets, and we think it deserves a little appreciation (and a good long hike).
