A restored mansion overlooking the Ohio River in southern Indiana, Azalea Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn is an antebellum home situated in a historic district of this wonderful neighborhood.
The interior is fitted with vintage furniture, wallpaper, and other decor. Guests are instantly transported to the 1800s, which is when this home was built. It is originally known as the Crawford-Whitehead-Ross House.
Many changes were made over the years as the house underwent new ownership. The changes allowed for space for the home to be converted to a bed & breakfast in its later years.
There are four rooms to choose from at this manor hotel. All feature private baths and fireplaces. The themes are English Garden, Victorian Room, Classical Antiquity Room, and Federalist Room.
Rates run between $175 and $190 per night and include a fresh breakfast each morning. Guests are treated to a multi-course meal that typically includes meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, and bread.
Additional amenities around this manor hotel include a veranda and porch, gardens, WiFi, AC, and more. Guests can also choose to add special romance packages that include things like flowers, chocolates, and candles.
The hotel is not far from are attractions like state parks, concert halls, historical landmarks, restaurants, boutique shops, and many other wonderful things to see and do. There is a two-night minimum stay required to enjoy this hotel, so you'll have plenty of time to explore it all.
