In Indiana, we have plenty to be thankful for, from our stunning rural landscapes to our bustling urban cities. There’s one downside to being a Hoosier, though: living here pretty much ruins your chance of ever enjoying living anywhere else. Don’t believe me? It doesn’t matter if you live in Indy, Bloomington, Valpo, or a small country town. Indiana has a fantastic mix of city and country life, so you’ll never get bored or need a change of scenery.

Come on. There’s no way clouds look this amazing anywhere else.
Living amongst farms is pretty fantastic, especially if it means you get great local produce, dairy, and meat. Want organic, pesticide-free, fresh-off-the-farm goods? Don’t move away and it’s all yours.
Admit it, even if you aren’t a huge racing fan, if you heard commotion about the Indy 500 anywhere else, you’d be itching to get home.
Indiana has a huge craft beer scene and a ton of wineries scattered throughout the state. Move away and you’ll quickly find less variety.

Okay, sure we love to complain that the weather changes constantly throughout the day, but if you were to move somewhere without seasons as intense as in Indiana, you’d be feeling pretty ripped off.
