Sure, Indianapolis isn’t New York or Chicago when it comes to pizza, but that doesn’t mean we lack delicious places to grab a slice. Here are nine pizza places throughout Indianapolis that you absolutely must try.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
1. Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza
You’ll find three locations in the greater Indianapolis area. Featuring upscale pizzas, delicious soups and sandwiches, you’ll never run out of fantastic options at this local chain.
2. Some Guys
For over 20 years, Some Guys has been one of the most popular pizza options in the city. At two locations throughout Indianapolis, you’ll find thin-crust pizzas, great subs, and a selection of local craft beer.
3. Giorgio’s Pizza
Since 1990, this authentic, family-owned pizza restaurant has been serving pizza by the slice throughout Indianapolis. Here, you’ll find large, delicious slices made with fresh ingredients. If you’re not in the mood for a slice, chef Giorgio also creates some wonderful pasta dishes and calzones.

7. HotBox Pizza

9. Ale Emporium
While not technically a pizza place, this popular Indianapolis bar has a selection of regular and thin crust pizzas featuring homemade sauces. For a meat-centric option, try the Porky Pig Pizza which includes sausage, pepperoni, bacon, Canadian bacon, and ham.
