Situated in a building erected in 1898, Market Street Grill is a four-star restaurant that wasn't established until 1996. This large brick structure and its historic balconies have undergone many owners over the years.
When it was first built, the building was a furniture store. Over the years, parts of the building have been used as a law firm, a bowling alley, a barber shop, a liquor store, a bar, and a dancing hall.
This casual eatery has a rustic interior with all sorts of decor that will make you smile. You won't be able to help marveling at all the unique pieces of history hanging from the walls and ceiling.
Of course, the best place to sit is on Market Street Grill's historic balcony. Enjoy lovely views of downtown Wabash as you dine a whole story level above the street.
