We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The neighborhood bookstore has been a beloved local gem since it first opened in 1976.

Between the rows of classic literature, history, medieval nonfiction, philosophy, theology, science fiction, foreign languages, mysteries, thrillers, and poetry, you'll be in heaven.

That's a lot of reading material.

You'll even find small private rooms you can book to play long strategy-based or RPG games.

In fact, The Griffon is widely acknowledged as a pioneer in the retail gaming industry.

And for those on a budget, they offer plenty of gently used games as well.

You're also allowed to call ahead and place a book or game order for a curbside pickup until the store is allowed to fully re-open.
