Brown County State Park
They book up incredibly fast, so you'll want to plan your visit well in advance. For example, pictured above is an example of the "Family Housekeeping" cabins, of which there are 20. They have two floors, two bedrooms, and a full kitchen; they sleep about eight people comfortably. They are open year-round and feature heating and air conditioning.

This gorgeous, 1800-square-foot log cabin in Indiana is the ideal getaway no matter the occasion. It rests alongside a half-acre pond, where the fishing is good, the days are long and relaxing, and at night, there are a million stars overhead. It's the perfect mixture of secluded and modern, far away enough from civilization to forget about life for a while but just close enough to the rest of the world for there to be plenty to do. We feel more relaxed already!

If you're looking for an out-of-the-box (or, should we say, out-of-the-silo?) kind of cabin, there's a converted grain bin home in Indiana Amish Country that's truly one-of-a-kind. It features a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds, all bathed in natural light. Your night's sleep should be just about perfect when you're tucked into the third bed: a luxurious king-size, soft, warm place of rest. (Yes -- a king-sized bed in a grain silo!) You'll access the upper level via a spiral staircase, which only adds to the appeal of this charming accommodation. The grain bin also has a mini-kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster oven, coffee pot, mini-fridge, and much more. This is easily one of the coolest and most unique accommodations in Indiana!
