Shipshewana is a magical place to be during the holidays with a nearly two month long celebration of the holiday season.
The Christmas celebration kicks off today, with a vintage Christmas market at the Michiana Event Center running through Saturday.
Then, on Saturday night, enjoy an enchanting evening at the famous Shipshewana Light Parade - an annual event that will delight kids and adults, alike.
This magical event showcases parade floats , trains, and carriages donned in their best Christmas lights for all to behold.
The parade begins at dusk and travels through Shipshewana. The traditional tree lighting ceremony will be held in front of the Blue Gate Restaurant and Theatre and there will also be Christmas carols and other holiday events happening throughout the evening.
