The infamous Shipshewana Flea Market is a massive outdoor event with some of the best unique and original shopping in Indiana. With 26 aisles of stands to browse through, it's no wonder this flea market made the top 20 list on this year's Flea Market Insider's top markets in the country!

This massive flea market is a staple in the summer for most Hoosiers, as the market is open from May until the first week in October (on Tuesday and Wednesday, certain weekend, and special holidays). In fact, Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market is the Midwest's largest flea market, with over 900 vendors and more than 100 lots.

What will you find at Shipshewana? If you can dream it, you can likely buy it here. You'll find a massive collection of home decor, both vintage and local creations.

Looking for a specific piece of furniture? Pick from reused or repurposed pieces, items from local craftsmen, or the always popular, Amish creations. You'll find a piece with a ton of character, at an affordable rate, here.

Looking for something slightly more obscure like a classic typewriter, artistic sculpture, or old fashioned globe? Shipshewana is where you want to go!

Of course, it wouldn't be a true Indiana flea market without a huge selection of locally sourced and baked food. Find amazing fruit butters, preserves, baked goods, and much more, here.

You'll also find a ton of handmade clothing, used books, unique art, vintage dinnerware, toys, and so much more.

So if you're looking for somewhere interesting to explore, you absolutely have to check out the Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market.

Hurry in before the season's up! They'll be open on more days during their Flea Market Season Finale from September 27-October 1st, from 8am until 5pm. Stop by for a final chance to uncover why Shipshewana is the region's favorite flea market.
