So when this brand new outdoor ninja course in Frankfort, Illinois opened this summer, I knew the neighborhood kids were in for a treat. And, hey, who’s to say mom or dad can’t try the course out, too?

Lincoln Meadows Park in Frankfurt, a south suburb of Chicago, unveiled a $400,000 improvement this year, including an incredible ninja-style obstacle course.

With structures to climb, swing from, weave between, run through, jump off, and balance on, the challenge course is meant to be a fun way to increase outdoor physical activity by combining exercise and play.

The course includes activities for kids of all ages and skills and is a unique addition to the community. Its rubbery, soft surface is also great for helping kiddos bounce back after a tumble.
