Walk The Yellow Brick Road In Illinois At The Midwest Wizard Of Oz Festival, A Tradition Since 1982

If you’re a fan of the Wizard of Oz, there’s an event taking place in Tinley Park, Illinois that will be your cup of tea. This Midwest Oz fest is one of the most popular themed fairs in America and now is every Illinoisans’ chance to visit. Dress up as your favorite character for this wonderful event. Taking place at Odyssey Fun Farm between September 21-22, 2019, the Midwest Wizard of Oz Festival is an annual event that is happening in northeast Illinois this year.

This annual event has been going on since 1982 and was traditionally held in Chesterton, Indiana though this will be the first year it is held in the Land of Lincoln.

Each year, about 30,000 people are attracted to this Midwest Oz Fest, which features special guests, live entertainment, and vendors.

Admission to the festival is $12 per day or $18 for a two-day pass. Babies under one year of age will be admitted for free, and tickets can be purchased in advance online.
