The Chicago Pedway is a little-known local gateway to the city that may soon become a huge tourist attraction. The path is mostly underground.

It is currently a system of pedestrian tunnels, concourses, and bridges beneath the Loop that help people access museums, restaurants, train stations, hotels, and other attractions during inclement weather.
Spanning the length of 40 downtown blocks, there are also many tunnels that don't directly connect but branch off through other parts of the Loop.
