7. Gene's Sausage Shop
This epic store began as a small deli in 1972 and moved to its current location in 1980. It features a rooftop beer and wine garden, a gift shop with meats, cheeses, nuts, etc, as well as imported goods, fresh produce and baked goods.
8. Myopic Books
No one can forget a visit to one of the best bookstores in Chicago. Located in Wicker Park, this award-winning used book store is the largest in the city and has three levels. It also hosts concerts and poetry readings.
