Open daily, these unique shops are located in the Chicagoland area and bring fruits and vegetables straight from 50 different Amish farms across the Midwest to this urban area.
Even if you're stopping in for some fruits and veggies, it's impossible not to stop over at the baked good counter and see what homemade goodies are in stock. Breads, pastries, sweet rolls, and more abound.
This Amish store also sells a great deal of fresh meats and cheeses. You may find anything from rainbow trout to rabbit as well as a myriad of smoked sausages.
Produce is sourced from farms across Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and good ol' Illinois. Tried-and-true methods go into growing these greens as well as into making the goodies at the bakery.
