Spiral Rock is one of the newest vineyards in the Lewis-Clark Valley AVA, but they've already made a great name for themselves. It definitely helps that they may just have the dreamiest "tasting porch" in all of Idaho.
It all started in 2014 when the vineyard's very first grapes were planted. With the help of family and friends, they planted 1,100 vines of Riesling grapes over one acre. They finally began production and filled their very first bottles of wine in 2016.
The quaint winery is the exact opposite of some of the larger-than-life vineyards you see in places like Napa Valley, and that's exactly why we love it. With every sip of their famous Spiral Rock Dry Riesling, you'll be reminded of why local wine is always the way to go.
Wine isn't the only thing that Spiral Rock specializes in! In 2019, the winery began distributing their very own fresh fruit kombucha. Brewed on-site at the winery, you can pick up their delicious kombucha in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties at certain retailers in Lewiston, Moscow, and Clarkston.
