It’s definitely a tale that’s stood the test of time, and now you can get a closer look at it than ever. The Discovery Center of Idaho has officially opened a brand new exhibit that showcases both authentic artifacts and re-creations from the world-famous ship. Located in Boise, the Discovery Center of Idaho is an interactive science museum that's geared towards kids and families. They boast a variety of permanent and temporary exhibits and programs, with something of interest for everyone.

Titanic, the world's largest ship at the time, made tragic history on April 15, 1912 when it sank during its maiden voyage. The awful event took the lives of up to 1,635 people and spawned public outrage, grief, and a widespread cultural impact.
The current exhibit at the Discovery Center takes a deep look at the legendary ship, with an emphasis on the human stories behind the tragedy. Visitors will feel like they've really stepped back in time thanks to the extensive room re-creations, replica boarding passes, and myriad authentic artifacts.
The exhibit is designed in chronological order, in which you'll start with the ship's construction and ultimately end with the ill-fated sinking and rescue efforts. For decades, technology has been used to recover some of the ship's artifacts from the ocean floor, and the exhibit displays over 120 of them.
Admission to the exhibit and the rest of the Discovery Center is $18 for adults, $17 for seniors, and $12 for youth ages 2-17. If you're a member, you get free, unlimited admission.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will be on display for approximately six months, so don't miss it! An exact closing date has yet to be announced. Advanced tickets and masks are required. You can reserve admission up to seven days in advance online.
