This flour mill was built in 1890 and the flour was sold in various locations around Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. Throughout the years, the mill site served a variety of purposes including the location of an electrical facility, a sawmill, and even a farm service center.
Unfortunately, in 1976, the mill was damaged during the Teton Dam flood. It was eventually sold in 1984 as a hydroelectric power plant site and ceased operation in 1994.
This notoriously haunted mill has been giving guests the heebie jeebies since 1997. As you walk around, you’ll truly feel like it is one of the most haunted places in Idaho.
As you explore the haunted mill, you’ll see some of the original flour equipment and other types of machinery. It is quite the sight to see, just keep your eyes out for all of the ghosts and ghouls!
This is no small tour. You will explore four levels of the historical flour mill. Keep your wits about you, as many spooky legends may make an appearance.
After you’ve finished your tour of the four-story building, you can explore the mill grounds, which will continue to give you quite the fright. On the property, you can visit the original log granary, an underground mine, suspension bridge, waterfall, maze, and wooded area.
