Since it's the New Year, many people have made resolutions for healthier eating. Well, that resolution may have to wait until after January 13th, since that is when Idaho's one and only Mac And Cheese Festival is taking place.

The festival will take place in downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Attendees of the festival will get to sample a variety of mac and cheese dishes prepared by local chefs. After the tastings, attendees will vote for their favorite mac and cheese. The winning chef will go home with the illustrious Golden Noodle Award.
Many different restaurants and breweries are participating in the festival. Each chef will prepare their unique take on this classic dish.

Restaurants like Mac Daddy's Gourmet Grub are sure to come up with something absolutely amazing. Mac Daddy's is famous for their epic mac and cheese sandwich.
Tickets are on sale now. For $15, guests will get six mac and cheese tasters. For $25, guests can receive six craft beer tastings along with six mac and cheese tasters.
