Located in the beautiful Ponderosa State Park in McCall, Idaho, the Lily Marsh trail is an easy 2.3-mile out-and-back trail that winds through lush and pristine landscapes. Good for all skill levels and great for families, this trail also welcomes leashed dogs from May to November.

The Lily Marsh hike begins on the Fox Run Trail and then branches south, following the Lily Marsh. Dogs are allowed on this trail in the summer months, provided that they are on a leash.

Unlike many marshes in the western United States, Lily Marsh has never been drained or disturbed by domestic livestock grazing. Its undisturbed quality makes it a pristine habitat for many wild species such as deer, ducks, muskrats, and beavers.
