The LaBelle Lake Ice Palace is the definition of a winter wonderland. Consisting completely of ice and snow, plus myriad multi-colored lights, it's totally unlike any other winter attraction you've seen before.
This year, the Ice Palace is scheduled to open the weekend before Christmas. Once open, the palace will be open every day through December, except for Sunday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Starting January 1, 2021, the Ice Palace will only be open Thursday through Saturday.
The Ice Palace is beautiful inside and out, but it's not just for gazing at. Visitors are welcome to walk through the majestic frozen palace and explore all of its rooms, staircases, and tunnels.
It's definitely advised to dress warmly for your visit - the warmer you are, the happier you'll be. After all, you'll be immersed in an icy landscape! Fire pits are available for warming up, and on the weekends they have a fire show that's performed every half hour.
Other attractions include appearances by your favorite holiday characters, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledding, ice tunnels, and gourmet hot chocolate. Admission is $13 for adults, $12 for students, $10 for military and seniors, and $8 for kids. Children 4 and under are admitted free.
