It turns out that there is at least one restaurant that is devoted to serving only the finest hot dogs you’ve ever had, and it’s actually kind of amazing. This hot dog shack may not look like much from the outside, but they serve up some of the tastiest dogs in Idaho. It just goes to show that sometimes it’s the places you’d least expect that impress you the most! Take a look:

There's really nothing *not* to love about a perfectly cooked hot dog loaded with an abundance of mouthwatering toppings. That's exactly what you'll get when you visit Franko's Dog House in Post Falls, Idaho.

This humble little hot dog shack may not look very fancy, but you'll be in love with it as soon as you take your first bite. This place specializes in serving up every type of hot dog you can imagine. It's absolutely spectacular.

Franko's a relatively recent addition to Post Falls. It first opened its doors just a few years ago as a passion project for a retired couple, Bruce and Kathy Pagano. However, the restaurant has quickly made a place for itself in the community.

There are dozens of types of dogs on the menu. You might have some trouble narrowing it down to just one or two! However, their famous Yorkie hot dog is a must. This is a Chicago-style dog with mustard, celery salt, tomato, pickle, relish, onion, and sport pepper.

Another popular variety is the "Italian Hound", comprised of Italian sausage, pesto, tomato, mozzarella, and pepperoncinis.

Additionally, Franko's offers up a monthly special that is often created with specialty game sausages such as elk, buffalo, and brat. Try something new or go with your gut. Franko's won't disappoint. You can find them at 2700 E Seltice Way #6, Post Falls, ID 83854.
